Brave New World WordPress theme
I’m pleased to announce the release of my first WordPress theme today—Brave New World. The theme is free of layout and styling beyond a modified version of Eric Meyer’s reset CSS and a baseline typography. Just like Elliot Jay Stock’s Starkers theme this is a base theme free from cruft yet incorporates HTML5, WAI-ARIA landmark roles and hCard and hAtom microformats. Continue reading

WordPress HTML 5 Theme now live
This post signifies the launch of TSG version 4 using WordPress, HTML 5, CSS 2.1 and 3. It is also a milestone in that I no longer support Internet Explorer 6 and its poor implementation of web standards—this is my personal website after all. Depending on your choice of browser your experience may vary also as I used CSS 3 selectors that are not fully supported yet by all the browsers. Flick around between your test suite.
